Malaysia have revealed the three drivers they will have present in the upcoming pre-season A1 GP test at Silverstone, with regular lead driver Alex Yoong being joined again by Fairuz Fauzy and Aaron Lim.

Although Yoong completed every race for Malaysia last year, taking three wins at Brno and Mexico City, Fauzy and Lim shared reserve driver duty over the course of the season, the latter being allowed to complete the rookie testing sessions.

The trio will be present at the Silverstone test where they will hope to make a strong first impression as they did last year when Fauzy recorded the fastest time on the opening day of action.

Yoong, Fauzy and Lim will share the testing duties evaluating the balance and handling of the car, working with the engineers to maximise their performance potential.

Although Yoong took the team to sixth in the standings last year, there is no final word on whether he will share his position with Fauzy, who has bounced back from two dismal GP2 seasons with a strong performance in the World Series by Renault and a test drive with Spyker F1.

A1 Team Malaysia Chairman Jack Cunningham however is merely hoping to get the drivers re-acquainted to the car in time for Zandvoort.
