Former A1 Grand Prix champions France have unveiled a promising driver line-up for the new season, with Nicolas Prost joining familiar faces Nicolas Lapierre and Jean-Karl Vernay at this week's Silverstone test.

Prost, son of four-time Formula 1 World Champion Alain, has been recognised for the performances in Spanish Formula 3 that currently place him third in this year's title race and will make his debut in the car at Silverstone with a view to potentially racing this season.

Nonetheless, no decisions have been taken on the team's driver line-up as they seek recapture the title they lost last season, Lapierre and Vernay at least are expected to reassume their place in the team.

GP2 race winner Lapierre helped France claim the inaugural title in 2005/06, while Formula 3 Euroseried front runner Vernay scored a best of eighth in the four races he competed in 2006/07.
