Having gotten a taste of the car last year during a handful of A1 GP rookie outings, Oliver Turvey will again assume the role of reserve driver over the course of the 2007/08 season for A1 Team Great Britain.

The former Formula BMW UK runner-up has been competing in the Formula Renault Eurocup this year but will return to the A1 Team Great Britain squad to compete in the rookie sessions, with a possible view to having a few racing outings later this season.

Turvey will return to the cockpit of the car, alongside lead drivers Robbie Kerr and Oliver Jarvis, at this week's pre-season test at Silverstone where he is keen to shine.

"I've been looking forward to this test at Silverstone, driving the car again and representing Great Britain. I am sure that the team will perform well and that we can make some good progress. My aim is to be one of the quickest rookies and also provide useful feedback to help improve the car for A1 Team GBR ahead of the first race in September."
