Logistics partner Delivered On Time - DOT - has been given the job of recreating the razzmatazz of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport on the streets of London prior to the final round of the 07/08 season at Brands Hatch.

On Sunday 27 April, Lower Regent Street will be transformed into an A1GP grid, with the cars of all 22 competing nations represented.

Visitors will have the chance to meet the teams and drivers as well as F1 legends Emerson Fittipaldi and Alan Jones, while there will be a live stage and jumbo screens running race highlights and driver interviews from the packed 2007/2008 season. To mark the series' new partnership with Ferrari, the pair of 599 GTB supercars used as championship safety cars will also be displayed.

"Visiting London en route to enjoying the final race on home territory will be a rewarding end to a flat-out season that has seen us responsible for transporting the series' equipment to ten events in nine countries in just nine months," DOT sales and marketing director Alistair Crompton said. "A1GP is a great series and set to be yet more so with the involvement and investment of Ferrari. It is great to be officially involved in such a successful enterprise."

The series is currently in Shanghai for the penultimate round this coming weekend. DOT will then have the task of packing up all the racecars, spares, team equipment, track signage, hospitality requirements, marketing materials, TV equipment, medical car, safety cars etc and shipping them all home safely to the championship's base at Silverstone.

The company will then have to load everything required for the promotional day in London and the race weekend at Brands Hatch onto transporters in time to recreate the A1GP grid in the West End on 27 April, prior to moving it all down to Kent and setting up for the season's grand finale on 2-4 May.
