Following a positive start to its A1 Grand Prix campaign at Brands Hatch just over a week ago, Team Pakistan travels to EuroSpeedway Lausitz for round two with driver Adam Khan in buoyant mood.

The eastern German circuit will be familiar territory to the youngster, who reckons he will be one of the few runners in the 25-car field to have sampled the EuroSpeedway road course.

"I competed at Lausitz in a Formula Three race earlier this year, and used it as an opportunity to prepare for A1GP," he said, "Even though I haven't been racing continuously this year, I finished that race in seventh place, so I'm really looking forward to the next A1GP event and feel confident following my performance at Brands Hatch."

Khan managed to record seventh and 13th place finishes in the opening round, having surprised many with a turn of qualifying pace that left him seventh on the grid, and
Team Pakistan chairman Arif Husain is expecting more of the same this weekend.

"I cannot wait for the next round to begin," he said, "I think that we may have surprised a few people at Brands Hatch with our early pace, but the team has had a really positive start to the season and is currently positioned ninth in the championship. With the next round in Germany only a few days away I can firmly say that, inshallah, Team Pakistan is ready to take on the rest of the world!"
