Robbie Kerr will hope to bounce from the disappointment of Brands Hatch as the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport heads to Germany this weekend for the second meeting of the season at the Eurospeedway in Lausitz.

The Team Great Britain driver finished fifth in the opening race of the weekend at Brands Hatch last time out, but endured a disappointing race two, when he held the lead only to retire when the battery on his car failed.

However, with the pressure of competing on home soil now behind him, Kerr said he hoped to secure a strong finish in the second meeting of the year and forget the disappointment of the first A1GP meeting a fortnight ago.

"This circuit's certainly going to be different to Brands Hatch," he said. "It's very technical and challenging. There's potential for much bigger gaps in the field. Obviously the result from Brands Hatch was disappointing and I hope that we can show here what we're capable of and the progress that we're making."
