Having contested the opening two rounds of the new A1 Grand Prix Series with the experienced Timo Scheider, Team Germany has confirmed that latest signing Adrian Sutil will take over at this weekend's Estoril weekend.

After a slow start at Brands Hatch, brought about by the team's late arrival in the series, Germany scored its best result of the season by taking home seven points at its home round at Lausitz, but now gives youth a chance with F3 Euroseries frontrunner Sutil getting his first outing after impressing in testing.

"I?EUR(TM)m already looking forward to Estoril, since I know the circuit from the tests and from a Formula 3 race there," the 22-year old said, "It has paid dividends to accompany the team to all the races and tests until now, and to develop the relationship between myself and the technicians. I know what they require after each practice and have a good idea how we can continue to improve the set-up of the race car."

Germany improved its position in the World Cup of Motorsport standings by six places, to tenth overall, following Scheider's fifth and tenth place finishes in Germany, but franchise holder Willi Weber is hoping for more this weekend, despite Sutil's relative inexperience.

"Our goal is to climb the leaderboard as high as possible by securing a good result in both races," Weber stressed, "The upward trend is a good sign, we have absolutely no doubts about the quality of our drivers?EUR(TM) skills, and I now expect a convincing performance from the entire team."
