Robbie Kerr admitted he was hoping for better from the rest of the weekend after setting the seventh and sixth quickest times in Friday practice for the latest round of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport at Estoril.

Alex Lloyd had been due to test the second Team GB car during two extra practice sessions which were scheduled in Portugal, but team principal John Surtess elected to give Kerr time in the car in wet conditions - the first real chance Kerr had had to run the car in the wet.

"Obviously it would have been better to have been quicker out there on the track but it was a bit of a lottery with the variable conditions," Kerr admitted. "I'm OK about how it's gone but will be happier when we get some faster times in tomorrow."
