Team Czech Republic driver Tomas Enge will start the A1 Grand Prix Sprint race from sixteenth on the grid at Eastern Creek, a track which doesn't look to lend itself to overtaking opportunities, and he was rather miffed by the number of tyres on offer for qualifying.

"We are not happy with our position it really was not our day," said Enge after the four qualifying runs. "We had some problems with the bumps yesterday but it was not the main problem today. We struggled with the balance of the car, which was oversteering, and it was too late when we improved it.

"The fact that there was last minute decision from the promoter to prepare just two new sets of tyres instead of the three sets usual for the qualifying did not help either. We hope to move forward in the races but you have to be realistic."
