Team India's torrid time in the A1 Grand Prix series continued at Sentul on Saturday, when a basic error by teenage driver Armaan Ebrahim saw the team dropped to the back of the grid.

While the fourth session mistake was minor - Ebrahim completed more than the three laps allowed for each competitor by coming in to the pits at the end of his out lap and then starting the three-lap qualifying sequence for a second time - it was enough to see the team's third session times cancelled and dropped the Indian car from 22nd to 23rd and swap places with Austria.

The error comes towards the end of a week that began with doubts hanging over India's continued participation in the series - a situation that A1GP organisers have moved to defuse.
