A1 Grand Prix Team GBR driver Robbie Kerr has said the front is where he and the British squad should be as he looks to the ninth round of the championship, this weekend in Mexico.

Kerr, who's Team GBR car sits in fourth place in the championship, has the bait of the Team Brazil car sitting just two points ahead in the points, and the Brit is confident of results this weekend at the Champ Car circuit of Fundidora Park.

"We are always looking ahead, and Mexico presents another opportunity for us to be at the front - which is where we should be," says Kerr.

"I'm looking forward to taking on France and all of the other teams as we once again contend for the podium. With only two points between us and Brazil, the prospect of moving into the top three is certainly an exciting one."

Kerr took his first pole position in the series last time out in Indonesia, but was unable to translate that to a race win.

"We must learn from our experiences in Sentul, but I am confident that we are heading in the right direction. The podium is certainly in sight," he says.
