Robbie Kerr is set to thrill the crowds of Manchester this weekend when he is reunited with his Team GB A1GP machine for the Sky Festival in the city centre.

Kerr, who now competes in the World Series, will be one of six drivers to take part in a 'sprint' around a specially designed 1.5km track through the city centre as the centre piece of the three-day event, with A1 teams Australia, China, Ireland, Lebanon and Malaysia also in attendance.

"I can't wait to get back into the car on Sunday," Kerr said. "Sky Festival offers a great platform to showcase the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport and nothing comes close to the thrill of seeing and hearing these cars in action at such close quarters.

"As a 'home' event it'll be great to meet A1 Team GBR's fans and to take the opportunity to introduce the A1GP concept to a wide range of festival goers!"

Members of the public will be able to get up close and personal with A1GP throughout the three day festival as a dedicated interactive A1GP paddock, located in Exchange Square, will be open allowing everyone a taste of a typical race weekend including the opportunity to get interactive with the likes of the tyre change challenge.
