Robbie Kerr will return to lead A1 Team GB in the second round of the A1GP season as the championship heads to Brno in the Czech Republic.

Kerr was unable to race at Zandvoort due to clashing commitments in the World Series by Renault, with Darren Manning taking up driving duties to secure fifth and seventh place finishes from the first two races of the year.

It leaves Team GB in sixth place in the standings going into the Czech weekend as Kerr prepares to make his first appearance of the A1 season - having scored seven podiums last year in helping GB to third in the championship.

As was the case at Zandvoort, Oliver Jarvis will take part in the Friday practice session for rookie drivers - although this time he won't have to worry about rushing home to take part in an F3 meeting, having had to make a switch trip back from Holland last weekend to wrap up second place in the British F3 International Series standings.

"It was important that as a team we came together at Zandvoort and got off to a strong start straight out of the box so to speak," team boss John Surtees said. "Consistency is rewarded in A1GP and while our results weren't maybe quite what we had hoped for given our pace earlier in the weekend in practice and in qualifying, we came away with points in both races to get ourselves established in the running.

"In Robbie and Oliver, and of course Darren, we have a terrific talent pool from which to make our driver selection for the races."
