Jason Workman returns to the American Le Mans Series co-driving the Marshall Cooke Racing P2 Lola B2K/40-Millington entry in the upcoming Petit Le Mans event on September 25.

Workman, one of the outstanding young drivers featured in the ALMS, will be sponsored by AECOS as well as Pirelli and Compactor Rentals, Ltd.

Co-drivers are Ben Devlin and Rich Grupp.

"Road Atlanta is my home track, my favourite track and the Petit Le Mans is my favourite event," said Workman. "I'm always excited to compete here.

"Over the past several years, I have had both great luck and bad luck in the Petit Le Mans so I'm hoping that this year is my turn for a P2 victory."

Last year, Workman had worked his way into the lead in P2 before an oil line failure spoiled his chance for a class victory and last remaining competitor with an outside chance to win the P2 championship. Heavily favoured Dyson Racing was able to secure the season championship with the ninth hour departure of the Workman entry.

"As always, it will be an exciting event. I'm happy to be a part of it and thankful to my sponsors, including the new addition of AECOS, for making it possible," he concluded.
