Amanda Stretton and Bob Berridge will team up for the final round of the BRDC British GT Championship at Brands Hatch on 28 September.

They will race one of the DeWalt-liveried TVR T400Rs that competed at Le Mans this year and will be filmed for a BBC television programme.

The couple, who recently had their first child, will be filmed for the lifestyle magazine programme 'Inside Out', which will be screened on the London region of BBC1 in the early evening of Monday 6 October. The half-hour programme will focus on how Amanda combines being a mother with being a racing driver and motorsport TV presenter.

Although both Stretton and Berridge have raced with the Tech 9/Gruppe M team in British GT this season, this will be the first time that they have shared a car in the championship. Respected team manager Hugh Chamberlain will oversee the entry at Brands.

Stretton started competing in classic and historic sportscars, whilst developing her TV career and has since raced a wide variety of cars, including a TVR Tuscan Challenge racer. This season she has already raced a Chrysler Viper and a Porsche 911GT3 Cup in the British GT Championship.

Berridge has a highly successful racing pedigree having been a winner in single-seaters and sports cars and was a works driver for Vauxhall in the British Touring Car Championship. He is also a former champion in the FIA Cup for Thoroughbred Grand Prix Cars.
