As in 2003, Scuderia Grifo Corse will concentrate on racing in the United Kingdom, with Michelangelo Segatori working in co-operation with the Stratton Motor Company and Lotus Motorsport to put together a British GT Championship campaign.

The Italian will again field a Lotus Sport Elise 200, co-driven by Walter Colacino, aiming to build on the fourth place finish he achieved in the GT Cup Class last season. The car also finished twelfth overall and first in class in November's Vallelunga 6 Hours. The Elise has now been rebuilt and updated ready for delivery to England to begin testing for the first race at Croft on 17-18 April.

"I look forward to beginning the championship" Segatori admitted, "I am confident after a year's experience of the UK circuits."

The drivers will also race in some rounds of the 'Italian Driver's Trophy' and selected endurance races in Italy with an Elise 190.

"We are ready for a new season of races where our two Lotuses will always be at the top," said a confident Scuderia VP Katia Ciancabilla.
