Martin Jessopp has undergone further surgery on his leg as he looks ahead to what he hopes will be a return to British Superbike competition in 2011.

The Ducati rider was enjoying his best season to date when a serious leg injury - sustained in a collision with Dan Linfoot at Mallory Park in June - forced him to skip the remainder of the year.

Though he returned to racing at the recent Macau Grand Prix, Jessopp has gone under the knife once more to fine tune the repair to his leg, removing one of the screws holding the metal rod. This will encourage further bone growth.

Jessopp is now focusing on 2011, though an update from the team reveals that plans for the new season are yet to be confirmed.

Jessopp, who scored a pole position and top five finish at Thruxton, and his team were revelations in 2010, with his team-mate Michael Rutter securing two win and fifth in the standings.
