Steve Brogan will step up to the main British Superbike Championship class in 2011 after confirming he has re-signed with Jentin Racing.

The inaugural BSB-Evo champion swept to the title riding a BMW S1000RR in 2010, but his move to the championship class will see him back on a Honda, three years after he won the National Superstock title with the manufacturer.

The first time Brogan has raced full-time in the BSB class since almost six years, the move will also see Jentin return to the forefront of the series after enduring an interrupted 2009 season.

Having produced several giant-killing performances on the Jentin BMW in 2010, Brogan believes he has the machinery to challenge for a shootout position this season.

"I am really feeling pumped about the new season as I have a lot of history with Honda and they have agreed to help us with the technical data which should give us a good base setting ahead of testing which is invaluable. It feels like I am coming home to Honda and I want to make it into the Showdown at the end of the season."

His main BSB Evo rival Hudson Kennaugh will also make the move to the championship class in 2011 with Splitlath Motorsport.
