WFR Honda overcame inclement weather conditions to get more miles under its belt ahead of the 2012 MCE British Superbike Championship season.

The team, which is the only one of 16 'Elite' entries to have three riders in 2012, travelled to Cartagena in Spain in an effort to get a headstart on its rivals, but a wet morning on the second day of action meant all running was done in the afternoon.

Nonetheless, Graeme Gowland was encouraged by the changes they were able to make in a short space of time and is confident of ending the test on a positive note.

"We had a thunder storm this morning which we were not expecting so we didn't get out on track until this afternoon," he told the British Superbike website. "It took a while to get some rubber back on the track but we still worked through some suspension changes and we did definitely make improvements. Hopefully we will have some good weather again tomorrow so we can end the test here with a positive final day."

Gowland's team-mates in 2012 will be Alex Lowes and James Westmoreland.
