BSB Organisers have expressed their delight after the news that Britain's leading riders will take to Rockingham's Motorcycle Road Course, travelling anti-clockwise around the 2.05 mile circuit, for round 12 of the 13-round British Superbike Championship.

Jos Foulston, British Superbike Championship Series Director said: "The circuit and facilities are first class - We're delighted to be taking the series to Rockingham, a new circuit, a fresh challenge to all riders and a fantastic spectator venue."

"Rockingham is an outstanding venue with great views from every grandstand seat in our all-seater stadium, added David Grace CEO of Rockingham Motor Speedway. "This ensures that everyone of our visitors will enjoy the action that the British Superbike Championship brings."

This year's title chase starts at Donington Park on Sunday 1 April with the opening two races of the British Superbike Championship.

Riders across all five classes competing at British Championship events will be at Donington on Monday 19 March for a practise day ahead of the season opener at the circuit.
