Crawley-based motorcycle dealership, P&H Motorcycles, has confirmed its return to the Ducati TriOptions Cup this season with former champion Leon Morris and Dennis Hobbs.

The team is backed by world renowned DJ Carl Cox and is entering the series for a third season, acquiring sponsorship from avid bike fan Cox, who plans to fit in as many meetings as he can this year around his hectic schedule.

Morris and Hobbs won five races between them last season and finished on the podium a total of ten times on their way to third and fifth places respectively in the overall standings.

Both will be use the latest Ducati 899 Panigale machines this year, which have been prepared by P&H Motorcycles in their Crawley workshop.

Former champion Morris said: "It's great to be able to join the P&H team. They've been a prominent team in the paddock for the past two seasons with Mike Edwards, so I know they can put a competitive race bike together.

"They've been busy building the new Ducati 899 Panigale so I'm looking forward to testing and getting going at Brands Hatch."

Hobbs is equally looking ahead to the season opener in April and is relishing the chance to ride the new Ducati.

"It's definitely felt like a long winter so I can't wait to get out and test the new Ducati 899," he said. "I've heard some great things about the machine and the guys at P&H have been working really hard on building it - so roll on Brands Hatch."

Speaking ahead of the team's first test at Almeria this week, main sponsor Cox said: "I'm really excited to be getting more involved with the P&H team this year; I've followed their progress closely over the past two seasons and they're a team who know what they're doing.

"The new Ducati 899 Panigale is an amazing machine and with Leon and Dennis on board, they can both be title contenders."
