The Bank Holiday weekend at Snetterton sees the Padgett's British Superbike team running both of its nominated riders for the first time this year.

Reigning 250cc champion Adrian Coates' remarkable recovery from his pre-season accident in Spain means he will be competing a full six weeks before his previously expected return date, while team-mate Marty Nutt, who returned a couple of weeks ago, is expecting good things on Monday as the team has been busy developing the 1000cc engine to improve the power delivery for the Ulsterman. The fast straights of the Norfolk circuit should suit the big Suzuki and the team are full of confidence after their recent test sessions.

Despite being a newcomer to four-strokes, Coates has quickly got comfortable on the bike and has been posting times that should see him in the thick of the action from the moment the start lights go out.

In the 125cc class, Padgett's Junior team member and 2001 British 125 champion Leon Camier is keen to make up for the disappointment of Silverstone, where he had to settle for third place in the second 125 race despite posting the fastest lap.

Camier's team-mate and 2001 BMCRC 125cc Champion Daniel Coutts is hoping to build on two strong performances at Silverstone and further improve on his best finish so far this season of ninth place.
