Current British 125cc Champion Leon Camier will fulfil a dream this weekend when he rides in the Catalunya Motorcycle Grand Prix in Spain.

"It's not everyday you get the chance to ride in a GP and I'm grateful to Padgett's for letting me take the opportunity to race against the best riders in the World," said 15-year-old Camier after he was offered the ride at the last minute by the Italjet team.

Although the Ashford schoolboy's absence from Sunday's Brands Hatch round will significantly affect the Padgett's team's title chances in this year's 125 championship, team manager Clive Padgett was happy to give his support to the deal, "it's what all the riders in the national championship dream of. Riding for the Italjet team in GPs will give Leon valuable experience that he couldn't get in the domestic series."
