British Motorsport Promoters has expressed its delight at being able to announce a confirmed date for the British Superbike Championship's visit to Ireland next season.

The increasingly popular series, won in 2002 by Steve Hislop and the MonsterMob Ducati team, will make a first visit to Mondello Park on the weekend of 18-20 July - one of a handful of dates left to fill when the original BSB calendar was issued last week.

Just one opening remains for a potential BSB round in 2003, with the 18-19 May weekend remaining free on the provisional schedule.
