Technical Sports Racing has officially launched its 2003 race programme and line-up, having formally decided to focus its efforts on this season's British national scene rather than contest world grands prix on a limited budget.

As a result, TSR has joined forces with M Price Limited, a market leader in aluminium walling and window fa?ades, to form the M Price-TSR Junior Team which will concentrate on the British 125 Championship, along with several outings in the Spanish Championship. The team has signed young British talents Eugene Laverty - aged 16 - and Steven Neate - just 15 - who were revealed along with their new bikes at the team's headquarters in Buckingham earlier today [Saturday].

The team will be using their own performance parts on the engines of the Honda RS125s, while Laverty will benefit from the use of a TSR chassis previously used by GP125 veteran Nobby Ueda in 2001 and Andrea Ballerini last season.

Having spent twelve years in grands prix, TSR would have liked to have continued on the international stage, but a lack of funding stopped those plans for 2003. Having supported Laverty in 2002, however, the team has decided to increase its support for him, utilising existing equipment and extending its involvement by adding Neate to the squad to provide extra feedback.

The team will begin testing in the nest few weeks to be ready for the start of the British Championship on 30 March at Silverstone.
