British Supersport team Triumph ValMoto completed a successful weekend of testing at Cadwell Park, spending two days at the Lincolnshire circuit completing some vital fine-tuning ahead of the official BSB test at Donington Park next weekend.

Team manager, Jack Valentine, admits that he is still delighted with the progress being made as the team puts the Triumph ValMoto Daytona 600 through its paces.

"I am still very pleased, both riders made excellent progress again," he said, "We had a few minor adjustments to make, but this weekend we were working on different tyre combinations and the balance of the chassis.

"I'm looking forward to the official test at Donington next weekend - this week we're concentrating on building two new bikes with higher spec engines ready for the official test."

Riders Craig Jones and Jim Moodie were also pleased with the progress so far and are looking forward to the start of the season at Silverstone on 30 March.

"The weekend was very good and I'm really happy with the bike," Jones reported, "I managed to put together some consistent laps and some good times. We made a lot of progress on set-up - Cadwell is a hard track to set up for so, if we can get it right there, we can get it right anywhere."

Moodie was equally optimistic, adding: "The bike is very good. There were quite a few superbikes there this weekend and we were able to get right in behind them on the corners and then stay with them for quite some time - that was impressive."
