Team Renegade Ducati's sole Supersport contender, Leon Haslam, heads for Thruxton and the third round of the championship determined to make amends for the crash that robbed him of a race win last time out at Snetterton.

"I've only been to Thruxton once or twice before and that was about four years ago, but it's definitely my type of circuit; fast and sweeping," said former GP rider Leon. "Although we may be a bit down on outright top speed compared to the four-cylinder bikes, I don't think it will as much of a problem at Thruxton as it was at Snetterton.

"Hopefully we'll be able to do exactly what we did last weekend, but this time stay on the bike and actually finish the race, preferably on the podium," he added.

"Leon demonstrated his outstanding natural talent (last weekend), the race was won until he was robbed of victory following a stroke of cruel luck," stated Team Principal Mark Griffiths.
