Karl Harris takes a massive 51-point advantage into the sixth round of the British Supersport Championship at Brands Hatch this weekend with only one thing on his mind - to win again.

The 23-year-old Sheffield rider has dominated what has traditionally been an ultra-competitive series with three wins and two second places in the first five rounds.

The combination of the 2001 British Supersport Champion and 2003 CBR600RR have proved to be an irresistible mix. Harris worked hard in pre-season testing with his new team so that they were on the pace from the start of the season and they haven't looked back.

"This season couldn't be turning out any better if I'd planned it myself," admitted Harris. "I signed for Honda Racing because I thought it could give me the best possible package to regain my title - and so it has proved. Everything has been on schedule to date this year, but I won't be getting carried away. The competition is really tough out on the track and I've got to keep focussed on every race if I'm to keep my advantage.

"I'm really looking forward to going to the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. It's my favourite track and I can't wait to test the full potential of the CBR600RR there at the weekend," he added. "I've been working relentlessly on my training programme over the past five weeks to ensure that I am well prepared for what should be one of the best events of the year."
