This weekend the current British Supersport Championship leader is hoping increase his 55-point advantage at Rockingham in the best manner possible - by winning.

So far this season, the combination of Karl Harris and the Honda CBR600RR has proven to be the dominant force in the fiercely contested series and this amazing run of form seems set to continue unabated at Rockingham.

Harris is in confident mood after another superb performance at Brands Hatch. After leading for the majority of the 20-lap race, the 23-year-old Yorkshireman was narrowly beaten into second place by fellow Honda rider Dean Thomas, but the Team Vitrans rider still languishes some 83 points behind Harris in the points table.

Harris' results have been impressive but it is the consistency with which he has achieved them that really makes the Honda Racing rider stand out from the Supersport pack.

"I've only raced at Rockingham once before," said Karl. "I missed the Superbike round last year through injury but in 2001 I won the Supersport race by over 10 seconds, so I'd say that I go pretty well there. This year I just want to go out and do what I've been doing so far this season - winning races and racking up points."
