Honda Racing's Karl Harris has taken his customary position on the front row of the grid for tomorrow's ninth round of the British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park.

The 23-year-old Yorkshireman ended the final qualifying session in second place behind title rival Stuart Easton.

Harris leads Easton by a massive 40 points with only four races left in the ultra-competitive Supersport series. He also took victory in an earlier round at Oulton Park in May, but that does not mean that he will be complacent as he sets his sights on a second British Supersport title in three years.

"I'm satisfied with second place on the grid even though I've just missed out on pole position," noted Harris, "I felt that Stuart Easton was pushing a bit too hard today and so it proved ashe fell off in the afternoon session.

"I'm happy with my pace in the 1 minute 40s which I think will be good enough to run at the front tomorrow - we'll have to wait and see.

"The Honda Racing team has once again given me a perfect set-up for the CBR600RR. That makes my job so much easier. Oulton is a particularly demanding circuit, but I'm confident that I can make it two wins out of two here this season. I've just got to keep my concentration and ride my own race right through to the chequered flag with the same level of determination that I've shown all season."
