Rizla Suzuki will field two riders who between them have five British Superbike titles under their belts for the 2003 season finale at Donington Park this Sunday, September 28th.

Rizla Suzuki regular racer and double BSB Champion John Reynolds has already secured second place in the 2003 Championship and wants nothing more than to finish with a double win on his GSX-R1000. JR comes from nearby Nottingham and counts Donington as his home track and will have a huge number of fans in the crowd.

"It's hard to believe that the final round of the year is here already," noted JR, "I am glad it is at Donington Park, my home circuit and a venue that suits our Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000. To be fair, any race track suits our race bike, it is a winning package that can be tailored to fast and flowing or slow and twisty.

"I've already finished second in the Championship and that no longer interests me. All I want to do is win two races on Sunday."

Joining JR for this round on the Rizla Suzuki GSX-R1000 is triple BSB Champion Niall Mackenzie, who stands in for the injured Yukio Kagayama who is recovering from a broken pelvis he sustained at the 10th round at Cadwell Park last month.

The popular Scotsman retired two years ago but when he was offered the chance to ride again, on what he reckons is the best bike in the field, he couldn't resist. Mackenzie lives in nearby Ashby de la Zouch and like JR, now counts Donington as his home track. He is the Rizla Suzuki test and development rider, so has plenty of experience on the bike and is relishing the chance to race again.

"Ever since I agreed to race at Donington, I have found new purpose in my life," said Mackenzie, "I have been training and dieting and I am enjoying getting back into the racers lifestyle, it is fantastic.

"I am going out for a bit of fun on Sunday and I'm not sure how competitive I will be, but I would like to think I am still good enough to mix it with the front of the field. Working with Rizla Suzuki, it is clear to me that the GSX-R1000 is the bike to beat at the moment and that helped me make my decision to race. I'll take every advantage I can. This is going to be good fun!"

The 12th round of BSB Superbike racing promises to be a busy one for Rizla Suzuki. The team is taking a pivotal role in the launch of a new product for Rizla, its Title Sponsor.

Rizla Silver will be launched in the UK on October 1st 2003 and the Rizla Suzuki Team will be competing in all new Silver livery this weekend to mark the event. The product is thinner and finer than ever before and packaged in premium Silver packaging to reflect the brand's innovative and contemporary position in the UK rolling papers market.

Gary Keogh, Rizla brand manager commented: "Rizla is delighted to be using British Superbikes as the high-profile media to launch Rizla Silver - the ultimate rolling paper.

"Silver is a precious metal that reeks of premium cues. The product is ultra thin, allowing the consumer a fuller flavour from their tobacco. This is our premium product and in many ways launching it at BSB is a perfect match for us. We have a high performance team, using a lightweight Superbike that has been reliably getting top results week in and out in the Championship - all matching the core values of Rizla Silver paper."

On race day JR will be taking a special Rizla Suzuki Radical race car for a few demonstration laps of Donington Park. Both JR and Mackenzie will be taking a pillion passenger for a ride around the circuit and team associate Jay Kay from Jamiroquai is planning to be in attendance as well.

Racing starts at 1:15pm on Sunday September 28th at Donington Park, Leicestershire.
