The search for the next generation of motorcycle road race stars has begun: Britain's ACU Academy is now inviting applications from young riders who think they have what it takes to follow in the footsteps of Academy Graduates such as Tom Bridewell, Tom Sykes (pictured), Craig Jones, Chaz Davies, Cal Crutchlow, Kieran Clarke, Jon Boy Lee, Barry Burrell, Chester Lusk, Jon Kirkham and Howie Mainwaring.

Those selected for the next intake will be invited to join the Academy Rider Development Programme for three years of seminars, track time and coaching from top experts.

In order to be selected, applicants must be:
o Between 13 and 17 years of age
o Have at least one years road race experience
o Have a fully costed racing plan for 2004
o Believe they are the best
o Want to be a champion more than anything else!

If you satisfy these requirements, then prepare the following:
o An up to date CV, including results for 2003 and action photos.
o Details of your plans for 2004
o A photo of yourself
o A short note explaining why you should be selected and why you have the potential to be a world champion (max 250 words).

Send all of the above to: Dave Luscombe,
