Behind the top two Stefan Mucke in the Charouz Lola completed the uninterrupted LMP1s at the front end, edging out the LMP2 LNT Zytek of Tom Kimber-Smith and Danny Watts, while the RML MG Lola of Thomas Erdos and Mike Newton followed nearly six tenths further back.

The Pescarolo Judd of Collard and Boullion rounds out the top eight.

In GT1, the Garcia/Turner Team Modena DBR9 leads the Oreca Saleen of Stephane Ortelli and Soheil Ayari by a full second, with a 1m 44.755s lap, the Aston Martin being the only car in the GT classes to be ahead of a prototype on the grid for tomorrow's race.

The Larbre F430GT, driven by Robert Bell and Gianmaria Bruni secured pole position in the GT2s, and was also the only GT2 to dip below 1m 50s, with the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR of Narac and Lietz following close behind them.
