Having finalised its eight drivers with the recent signing of former F1 man Timo Glock, BMW has now revealed the exact nature of its line-up for the 2013 DTM season.

Championship winner Bruno Spengler will continue to race with BMW Team Schnitzer alongside Dirk Werner, while Augusto Farfus and Martin Tomczyk remain with BMW Team RBM and BMW Team RMG respectively.

There is one change however amongst the established BMW drivers, with Andy Priaulx moving from RBM over to RMG, and American racer Joey Hand going the other way.

That means that Glock and fellow newcomer Marco Wittmann will be paired together with Team MTEK; who join the BMW roster for the year ahead as the fourth team.

"With BMW Team MTEK, we will have even more strength in numbers in the future, which can only be advantageous in such a close series as the DTM," BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt said. "There are obviously some operational challenges when it comes to integrating a new team into an existing structure. However, we are confident we have done just that.

"Timo Glock and Marco Wittmann are also new to the DTM. Together with BMW Team MTEK, we will give them the time they need to gradually find their feet in this series. As far as our other three teams are concerned, we saw no need to make dramatic changes to the tried-and-tested structures. However, we did want to set a few new courses for the 2013 season, in order to get the most out of the strengths of our drivers and teams. This is the thinking behind Andy Priaulx and Joey Hand swapping teams.

"The allocation of our drivers for the 2013 season allows both the drivers and the teams to take the overall package at BMW Motorsport to the next level by exchanging experiences and ideas. Everyone in our team is highly motivated to succeed as we face the new challenge of lining up in the DTM as defending champions."
