Audi's Nico Muller has ended the three-day DTM pre-season test at Estoril quickest of all for Team Rosberg.

Muller's 1 minute 32.443 second lap - set during the morning session of the final day - proved to be the quickest lap of the week at the Portuguese venue, displacing Lucas Auer's lap from yesterday off the top spot.

It means Audi leave the Estoril test having topped the timesheets on two out of the three days, both efforts coming from a Team Rosberg prepared RS 5 after Jamie Green set the ball rolling on the first day of running back on Wednesday.

Two-time DTM champion Timo Scheider further cemented the RS 5's reign of dominance over the Estoril test after recording a time just over a tenth shy of his Swiss team mate in second.

"The whole team did a good job in winter," said Scheider. "This was the first time for me to sit in the RS 5 DTM since the finale at Hockenheim and I immediately felt comfortable. The car is superbly balanced."

ART Grand Prix's Gary Paffett was the only non-Audi in the top four for Mercedes after his C-Coupe set the pace during the afternoon session. The Brit's 1 minute 32.640 second lap ended up being the third quickest effort of the day.

Miguel Molina and Edoardo Mortara maintained the Audi stranglehold in fourth and sixth as they sandwiched the highest placed BMW M4 of Antonio Felix da Costa in fifth position.

Positions seventh to ninth were occupied by a three-car Mercedes train comprised of Dani Juncadella, Robert Wickens and Christian Vietoris. Behind that trio came the day's busiest driver, Maxime Martin after the Belgian managed to complete 154 laps on his way to tenth place.

The next pre-season running gets underway in three-weeks time [April 14-16] when the DTM paddock travels to Oschersleben for another three-day test.
