The two-day wet tyre Pirelli test is underway in Paul Ricard, the first time F1 cars have been seen on track since the 2015 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix finale in November.

Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren are present at the southern France venue with drivers Kimi Raikkonen, Daniel Ricciardo and Stoffel Vandoorne, the trio putting in the miles on day one for a carefully arranged testing programme devised by Pirelli.

Sebastian Vettel and Daniil Kvyat have taken over for day two, with Vandoorne staying the car for McLaren.

The test is strictly for 2015-specification cars only, with the Paul Ricard venue has been chosen due to its trackside sprinkler system that can ensure the circuit remains wet.
