So that's a wrap for all of our testing coverage in Bahrain! Two important days of running for all of the teams to get under their belt ahead of next week's Chinese Grand Prix.

Also a good day of running for the Pirelli prototype tyres as part of its development for 2020, shared between Daniil Kvyat, Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz Jr. The trio completed a combined total of 240 laps today.

Another solid day of learning for Mick Schumacher in the Alfa Romeo following his Ferrari debut on Tuesday. He ended the day sixth-fastest, racking up 70 laps in total.

Also a very productive first full F1 test outing for Dan Ticktum in the Red Bull, who completed 135 laps.

Russell's final flying run saw him set a lap just 0.005 seconds slower than his best effort. A good flourish to end his first day in the Mercedes W10 this year.

Russell is clearly enjoying his run-out in the Mercedes today after a difficult start to the season with Williams. Literally jumping from the back of the grid to the front!

Sainz steals some of Alonso's thunder by going P3 with a 1m 29.795s in the regular McLaren. Alonso is in the McLaren Pirelli tyre test car,

Alonso, who is going for a low fuel run, jumps up to P11 with a 1m 31.006s.

A few drivers are now hunting headline times as Grosjean goes P10 with a 1m 30.903s while Russell goes P6 with a 1m 29.998s in the Mercedes.

So far Kvyat, Albon, Ticktum are the only drivers to break the 100-lap mark, but with 50 minutes to go a number of other drivers are within a shot of taking that milestone.

Not satified with his Pirelli tyre testing programme, Sainz is back out in the regular McLaren for the final 70 minutes of track action in place of Norris.

The Racing Point driver now leads by 0.223s beating Vettel's morning time. Kvyat has climbed to third place with a 1m 29.911s and Schumacher is now fourth with a 1m 19.998s.
