Perez is not hanging about having had his F1 test time cut in half as he shoots up to P8 with a 1m 31.809s. The Mexican remains 2.490s off Vettel's topper.

The majority of F1 teams are back in the garages at the moment leaving just Latifi and Kvyat on track. There will be no lunch break again today but no doubt many teams are thinking about their food after a productive morning session.

Stroll is up to second place on the times for Racing Point with a new personal best lap of 1m 30.049s which puts him 0.730s off Vettel's leading effort. This could prove a key test for his team following a slow start to the season as it looks to play catch-up in development.
