Sauber has announced that it will launch its 2012 F1 challenger in Jerez in early February.

The Ferrari-powered C31, which will once again be driven by Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez, is to be unveiled at the Spanish circuit on 6 February prior to pre-season testing.

The three day test, which will be the first chance for teams to run their 2012 cars, will get underway the following day although some of Sauber's rivals - including Mercedes - aren't set to hit the track with their new machines until the second winter test in Barcelona.
