Lotus has become the seventh team to set a 'launch' date for its 2012 F1 car.

The Enstone-based outfit will reveal the replacement for the Lotus Renault GP R31 on Sunday February 5 at 17.00 hours CET. The unveiling will take place online and will coincide with the launch of the squad's new website.

The following day, an 'event' will be held at 13.00 hours [local time] in the specially-built Lotus F1 Team dome structure situated in the car park area within the Jerez paddock. After there will be a press conference with race drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean, as well as technical director James Allison, and team principal Eric Boullier all in attendance.

The team also intends to conduct the first runs with the car in the afternoon, with Raikkonen at the wheel and due to do a shakedown at around 14.00 hours [local time].

Meanwhile, Lotus has also confirmed its provisional winter testing programme. Raikkonen will run for the first two days at Jerez, from February 7-8, before Grosjean takes over from February 9-10.

At Barcelona, Grosjean will start (February 21-22), before Kimi does the final two days (February 23-24). The second Barcelona test, from March 1-4, mirrors that pattern, with Grosjean out on the opening two days and Raikkonen finishing proceedings off from March 3-4, ahead of the season opener in Australia on March 18.
