It is now thought, after all the Winter testing held in Europe by all the Formula One teams that tyre manufacturer Bridgestone will definitely have a 1.5 seconds a lap advantage over their rivals running on Goodyear rubber.

Although both makes of tyres seem to keep their lap times consistent throughout a race run, the Bridgestone1s have been said to wear much less than their Goodyear rivals.
It is also true that the Bridgestone's tend to last much longer than Goodyear and will therefore give their teams the advantage of running at least one less pit stop than the Goodyear runners.

The Bridgestone tyres are also setting equally impressive lap times at the end of their stints, the direct opposite of what the Goodyear1s are doing, their effectiveness comes within the first two or three laps, the Bridgestones are consistent throughout.
