Stewart Grand Prix's first points of the season may have temporarily
safeguarded the jobs of driver Jan Magnussen and designer Alan Jenkins, but
team boss Jackie Stewart has said that the team must continue to
improve.

Rumours that Stewart had considered replacing Jenkins with Tyrrell's Mike
Gascoyne appear to be wide of the mark, with the team blaming lack of
readiness and the change of factory for leaving them at the back of the
grid. Magnussen also appears to be safe for now, especially as possible
replacement Jos Verstappen looks set to become Benetton's permanent test
driver. The Dane will have his position reviewed on a race-by-race basis,
but looks likely to remain with the team at least until the French GP in
June.
