Ken Tyrrell In Cancer Scare.

Less than a week after the death of his close friend Harvey Postlethwaite, it is reported that former F1 boss Ken Tyrrell has been receiving treatment for cancer.


Tyrrell, who reluctantly sold out to the British American Racing outfit at the start of 1998, is due back in the UK this week, having undergone surgery at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA. According to Tyrrell's son, Bob, the operation was a success - with no further treatment required - but a three-month recovery period lay ahead.
