Jordan Grand Prix look set to recruit Russian teenager Vitaly Petrov according to reports by BBC Sport Online.

Petrov has been linked to the Silverstone based squad, as it is believed a Russian driver might attract new sponsors.

All this is bad news for Ralph Firman, who made his F1 debut with the the team this year.

Firman endured a largely disappointing campaign in 2003, scoring just one point.

A number of other names have also been linked to Eddie Jordan's team, including ex-Sauber drivers Nick Heidfeld and Heinz-Harald Frentzen, and former Toyota test driver, Allan McNish.

Whether any of these names will eventually end up driving for the EJ's outfit next year remains to be seen, and until an announcement is made, speculation is sure to continue...
