Ferrari star Michael Schumacher will help draw out the names today for the 2006 World Cup finals.

Schumacher will join FIFA's deputy general secretary, Jerome Champagne and nine other celebrities for the ceremony in Frankfurt, which will begin at 4.05pm GMT.

The 2006 World Cup, which will be staged in Germany, begins on June 9 2006, and ends on July 9.

Amongst those in attendance alongside the six times F1 world champion will be Italian referee Pierluigi Collina, Mexico goalkeeper Jorge Campos and U.S. women's international Brandi Chastain.

Wolfgang Niersbach, a vice-president of the World Cup organising committee, told Reuters: "It is a great pleasure to welcome all our guests to Frankfurt, the home of the German Football Association. We are optimistic of putting on a great show and of the draw being a great success."

The draw will be televised live in over 100 countries...
