Rachel is also set to become a familiar face to Australians when she stars in the AGPC's new TV campaign promoting the event.

Melbourne born and bred, Rachel's first brush with fame came when she graced the silver screen as a vampire alongside late R&B singer-actress Aaliyah in the Warner Bros movie Queen of the Damned.

While modelling extensively overseas for international brands such as L'Oreal, Speedo, Collette Dinnigan and Adidas, Rachel appreciated the familiar feeling of home when she saw the blue, red and gold Foster's bottles behind bars from Paris to the Maldives.

Rachel's role builds on the Swaney family's long-standing relationship with the Foster's Group, as her grandfather and two great uncles spent their working lives at the Carlton & United Breweries plants in Abbotsford, East Melbourne and Carlton.

Rachel is a motor sport enthusiast and her understanding of F1, the teams and drivers will stand her in good stead when she socialises with fans and other celebrities on-track and in corporate facilities at the event.

As the 'Face of Foster's' in Australia, Rachel follows in the stylish footsteps of Grace McClure [pictured] and ex-Neighbours star Krista Vendy.

The 'Face of Foster's' is a popular tradition in Europe too. Australian celebrities Tania Zaetta and Mimi McPherson have been two previous 'Faces' in Britain.
