The Jordan Ford team has revealed that they will 'launch' their 2004 Formula One car this week.

Eddie Jordan's squad will officially unveil the EJ14 this coming Wednesday, February 4, at the Silverstone circuit, just yards from the team's base.

The 'launch' according to sources close to will be a low-key affair, totally private, with no massive publicity. It is believed that this is seen as the most prudent plan, considering their rumoured current financial position.

Nick Heidfeld will be in attendance as their only confirmed driver, as will Timo Glock, who will help the German during the two-day test at the British circuit, although he will run in the EJ13.

Jordan scored 13 points last season and despite taking a fortuitous victory at the rain-affected Brazilian Grand Prix, finished ninth in the constructors' championship, 3 points behind Toyota who were eighth.

The season was considered one of their worst in the series to date, since the squad made their debut in F1 in 1991.

They are the eighth outfit to confirm the launch date of their 2004 car - only Minardi and McLaren-Mercedes have yet to set a date, although the latter have been testing with the new MP4-19 since the end of last year.
