Swiss driver Neel Jani will become only the third driver to test with the rechristened Red Bull Racing team when he joins Christian Klien and Vitantonio Liuzzi at Jerez this week.

RBR continues with its second winter test - and apparent driver evaluation - at the southern Spanish circuit from today [Wednesday 1 December], with Klien and Liuzzi - the favourites for its two seats in 2005 - conducting the bulk of the driving.

Both drivers will drive on all three days of the test, with Klien predominantly using the reliveried Jaguar R5 chassis from 2004, while F3000 champion Liuzzi runs the R5C. The team has said, however, that the drivers may swap chassis as the programme requires.

Jani is expected to appear in the R5 on Friday as part of the team's on-going driver evaluation programme. The 21-year old is a member of the Red Bull driver development programme, and performed testing duties with the Sauber- Petronas in both 2003 and 2004 - but has already appeared on a Red Bull release as forming part of the drinks brands GP2 line-up.

Jani contested the Formula Renault V6 Eurocup this season, finishing fourth despite not entering all rounds of the series.
