Giancarlo Fisichella and Nelson Piquet Jr will be at the helm of Renault's next Roadshow appearance when they demonstrate the regie's Formula One machines to the burghers of Johannesburg next month.

After Heikki Kovalainen kicked off the programme's 2007 world tour in Poland at the start of June, his race and test partner will be at the wheel for Renault's first F1 appearance in Africa since the last of the South African grands prix at Kyalami, in 1993.

The demonstration on the streets of Johannesburg takes place on 28-29 July, between the German and Hungarian rounds of the 2007 championship, and will run a circuit through the streets of the Sandton commercial district.

While Piquet's father raced in South Africa during his illustrious career - clinching the 1983 title at Kyalami - neither the Brazilian or Fisichella has done so, and the Italian, in particular, is looking forward to the promotional event.

"I am very excited," Fisichella admitted, "I have never been to South Africa, as I was too young to ever have competed in the races at Kyalami, but I have heard a lot about the country, and people have told me what an extraordinary place it is. We will be looking to put on a really spectacular show for the public in Johannesburg."
