Although his own title hopes continue to fade by the race, Felipe Massa helped Ferrari secure the 2007 Constructors' Championship by representing the '2' of the team's 1-2 result in the Belgian Grand Prix.

Unable to do much about team-mate Kimi Raikkonen's victory, Massa's small pole position denying mistake in qualifying was probably enough to take a crucial two points away from him, the result leaving him 20 points adrift of Lewis Hamilton.

The race itself was relatively uneventful for the Brazilian, Massa enjoying a quick stint in the closing stages to score the fastest lap but otherwise having to settle for an eighth podium of the season.

Nonetheless, while attentions in Ferrari are likely now to switch to Raikkonen, Massa insists he is still in the title fight, even though just three races - and therefore a total of 30 points - remain up for grabs.

"It was a good race. I just had a bit of oversteer in the first stint but, at the stop we made a change to the front wing. The soft tyres worked very well and it might have been better to use them even for the first stint but you can only see things like that after the race.

"I am very happy for the team as we really wanted this one-two! Now, the situation in the championship is a bit better and we will continue to fight to the end, believe it!"
